New Patients
We're Glad You Found Us. Here's What to Expect.
Everything you need to know before your first appointment — from scheduling and insurance to what to bring and what to expect in the exam room.
Your First Visit, Step By Step
We know starting with a new provider can feel like a lot. Here's exactly how it works from start to finish.
Request an appointment
You can request an appointment online using our scheduling portal, or call or text us at (206) 937-4700. We schedule both routine and urgent appointments, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're in pain and need to be seen soon.
Note: We work to make urgent or emergent visits available — just call
Check your insurance & referral
Before your visit, review your insurance plan to confirm we're in-network and to understand your co-pay and deductible. If your plan requires a referral to see a specialist, contact your primary care physician first and have them fax the referral to our clinic. See our full insurance list below.
Gather what you'll need to bring
Coming prepared makes your appointment smoother and faster. Here's what to bring:
- Your insurance card(s) — bring all cards if you have more than one
- A photo ID
- Any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI) if you have it
- A list of current medications, if applicable
- The shoes you wear most often — helpful for gait and biomechanical assessments
Arrive & check in
Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete your new patient registration. Our clinic is located at 4520 42nd Ave SW, Suite 34, Seattle, WA 98116.
Parking note: Limited patient parking is available on the ground floor of our building. There is also 2-hour metered street parking, and a paid lot directly across the street. The HONK app makes lot payment easy.
Your appointment
Your provider will take time to understand your history, listen to your concerns, and examine your foot or ankle thoroughly. Before you leave, they'll explain what they found in plain language and walk through your treatment options with you.
Note: We take time to listen. Ask every question you have.

Co-pays
Insurance regulations require that any co-payment due under your policy be collected at the time of service. Please come prepared with your co-pay amount. If you're unsure what your co-pay is, check your insurance card or call your insurer in advance.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We ask that you give us at least 24 business hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to an up to $100 account reinstatement fee. We understand life happens — please just call us as soon as you know.
